Aulealm in Garmisch-Partenkirchen

Good food, warm space and comfortable. Very beautiful location.

Long waiting times of 45min. on a Kaiserschmarrn that was too crispy and reminded of a cake. Chaotic waitresses. Totally outdated ambience. That was nothing.

We were there for dinner around 6pm. In the large dining room, all 3 tables were occupied next to each other. That is why the guests were not allowed to sit across from each other at the table due to the Corona rules. The reason why the guests were not allowed to sit in the large dining room is questionable. I didn't want to ask the waitress because of their harsh friendliness. The food was cheap, but nothing special in my eyes either. We will not have a second meal there. The chef and the waitress don't know how to encourage guests to make a second visit. Maybe the impression is different when you pass by on the terrace for a piece of cake. In any case, the location and the building are a gem to make something out of ...

What to say The restaurant has seen better days ... The service was semi-friendly, the food was rather mediocre and the atmosphere, see photo. You can certainly do something with the restaurant ... But I can't make a recommendation at the moment. We're not coming any more.

Very nice location

The location with a view of the Zugspitze, brilliant. How they deal with the corona rules there, however, is silly. The whole hut was empty and there was no telling that many more people would want to eat there. Still, we had to sit next to each other on a bench. The tablecloth was unfortunately not wiped off, despite Corona.

We cannot share the positive reviews. If 3 dishes are served between the first and the last about 30 minutes. lying does not show quality. And the Kaiserschmarrn, which is so praised here, is unfortunately one of the worst we have ever eaten. Much too firm, apparently only fried on one side

Real German and not cooked, Bavarian cuisine, very tasty and served hot. SECRET TIP for and from locals ... Family hospitality from lifelong, warm ladies. In the kitchen, too, the regiment seems to have a high age and therefore also a lot of good cooking experience ... Unfortunately now a rarity in Garmisch ...

Super nice and friendly service, great food at good prices on every day we stopped there. Kudos to the kitchen and the entire staff. If we come back to Garmisch Partenkirchen vacation, we know where we are going to eat.

Very nicely located guest house. We were there after we came back down from the Zugspitze. Delicious coffee and fresh, warm plum cake were served to us by the very friendly staff. The main courses we saw also looked very good.

Great liver dumpling soup, the Wiener (pan schnitzel) phenomenal. Despite Corona, there is a very cozy atmosphere thanks to the friendly service

Idyllic place, easy to reach on foot from Garmisch. Very nice, secluded terrace with a great panorama. Super roast pork, first-class Kaiserschmarrn, friendly and correct service. There is also a playground for the little ones. Gladly again!

Very kind server patient with our English We got the apfelkulche and the kaiserschmarrn the kaiserschmarrn was HUGE and sooo good the apfel küchel was served with vanilla ice cream and was DELICOUS the preferred of the two both being wonderful.

The kaiserschmarrn was delicious. Staff was friendly.

Today we walked from the Rissersee to the Aule Alm in about 20 minutes. In bright sunshine we had a great view. In very cold weather, the very large tiled stove can certainly provide warmth. The soups were delicious. The wheat beer with a dash of syrup is also a nice idea. Lamb stew and horseradish schnitzel rounded off the main course. There is nothing to say about the one man serving of Kaisserschmarrn ... Um, please have 3 more forks ? We can only recommend a visit. There is also a parking lot for the lazy.

A serene and beautiful place surrounded by mountains. This is exactly the place you think about to escape to when you're trying to study. The Zugspitze can be seen from here and no crowds make it the best place there can be for a weekend visit. I absolutely love Garmisch.

Beautiful place in the countryside with a sheltered terrace. Great view of the mountains. However, the "Alm" is a restaurant that can also be reached by car. We only made a thirsty stop there. Good-looking food and Kaiserschmarrn were served at the neighboring tables.

The Christmas goose was as always a poem! And there was nothing left of the Kaiserschmarrn. ? Today on Easter Sunday we ate roast pork with dumplings. The meat has melted on the tongue. ???

A nice walk from the Riessersee takes you to the Aule Alm in about 15 to 20 minutes. The food was delicious and the prices cheap. Unfortunately the Aule Alm probably had its best times in the 80s. It crumbles a bit here and there. From the location and the building, it is still a wonderful place ... which should definitely be preserved and revitalized (renovated).

Nice little stop on the trail for a bite and a drink!

One of the best Kaiserschmarrn in GAP and never so full of tourists. Hint: wind drafts are no so strong there so the temperature is always warmer...beware of very hot days...its like sauna..

A short walk from Riessersee to Aule Alm rewards you with an excellent range of food and drink. Very friendly and quick service. The prices are sensational for the quality offered. Some restaurants with higher demands (within walking distance) could cut off a large slice of it. I haven't eaten such a good venison goulash in a long time.

Stewed steak and onion fried pork chops are delicious; the restaurant itself is very new and clean

Great family run business and house. The mother is still working in the kitchen serving beers, what a great Lady!
